Headquarters
The Palace, while maintaining its institutional functions, is open to the public for tours and during special events.
The Paolo Cresci Foundation is located in Lucca, in rooms adjacent to the Little Chapel of St. Mary of the Rotunda (home of the permanent exhibition on emigration), within Ducal PalaceNapoleon Square. The Ducal Palace was restored thanks to ministerial funding for Jubilee 2000 and co-financing from the Province, and today is the seat of the Provincial Administration. Since December 1998, the Public Palace under restoration has been Open Yard, promoted by the Palace Factory as a theater of events, with art interventions, conferences on restoration and urban quality, meetings, seminars, guided tours and a training program with the participation of interns from various disciplines. Today the Palace, while maintaining its institutional functions, has been opened to the public, both for visits and for special events: its new image is already a protagonist of the cultural life of the city and the territory.
